For each damage agent, a composite index was created by analyzing the ADS data for the past 5 years (2005 - 2010)collectively. The assumption is that the longer the infestation has been in one location, the higher themortality. This can then be used to identify those epicenters of high mortality and adjacent areas todetermine the potential for future mortality. These data are provided by Bureau of Land Management (BLM) "as is" and may contain errors or omissions. The User assumes the entire risk associated with its use of these data and bears all responsibility in determining whether these data are fit for the User's intended use. The User is encouraged to carefully consider the content of the metadata file associated with these data.
