River Chemistry in Yellowstone National Park The Yellowstone Volcano Observatory (YVO) was established as a collaboration between the U.S. Geological Survey and Yellowstone National Park "To strengthen the long-term monitoring of volcanic and earthquake unrest in the Yellowstone National Park region."
