This is a dataset of location and photo data for the debris flow deposits measured in the Tadpole Wildfire. The data were collected using the ArcGIS Collector application by multiple individuals. The original data are stored in a geodatabase here, and the geodatabase has the following fields: Latitude (decimal degrees), Longitude (decimal degrees), Elevation (meters), GlobalID (a unique ID), CreationDate, Creator, EditDate, Editor, and Notes. Each point in the geodatabase represents an observation (either a debris flow deposit or a wood measurement), and most points also include associated photos of the deposit/wood. An opensource version of the geodatabase is provided as a shapefile, containing the same fields...

This dataset is a polygon shapefile of woody debris in an approximately 500 meter (m) reach of the Kalamazoo River upstream of Plainwell, Michigan (MI). The woody debris was identified using terrestrial lidar data collected in October 2021. The lidar point cloud was classified as ground, water, and vegetation returns by a combination of automated and manual methods. Woody debris points in the channel were manually classified with the aid of imagery that was collected concurrently with the lidar data. These points were used to generate polygons defining the outline of woody debris in the channel. Because lidar does not penetrate the water surface, fully submerged debris could not be detected and only vegetation extending...

These data provide a comprehensive survey of peak-stage indicators along the Colorado River corridor between river mile (RM) 0 and RM 87 (see Figure 1 in the associated USGS-SIR). In 2008, the locations of peak-stage indicators in three short reaches downstream from RM 87 were measured using a handheld GPS unit (see Appendix 1 in the associated USGS-SIR). Total-station measurements were made using an established network of survey control that references the 2011 realization of NAD83 (NAD83 (2011)) (Kaplinski and others, 2017). The measurements were projected into the State Plane Coordinate System of 1983, Arizona central zone (FIPS zone 0202). Vertical positions are provided in both NAD83 ellipsoid heights and in...
