Detailed roads of the Navajo Nation and vicnity for use in mapping. Not intended for use as centerlines data. In September 2011, 2010 Tiger Line roads were re-attributed into six classes using OpenStreetMap and Bing Aerial Imagery as reference sources. Route numbers were corrected or assigned and segments were split when necessary. Due to overlapping segments, use Symbol Levels for proper display. The TIGER/Line Files are shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) that are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national...
Mule deer in the Izzenhood herd are part of a larger population known in Nevada as the “Area 6” mule deer population. They primarily reside on winter ranges in the Izzenhood Basin and upper Rock Creek drainages in western Elko County and northern Lander County. From their winter range, mule deer in this sub population migrate approximately 70 miles to summer ranges in the northern Independence Mountains and Bull Run Basin area. Some of the most important stopover areas are located near upper Rock Creek, Toe Jam Mountain, and Chicken Creek Summit. Challenges to this deer herd include past wildfires on winter range, conversion of native shrub habitats to exotic annual grasses, and lower primary production in some...

RS 2477 stands for Revised Statute 2477 from the Mining Act of 1866, which states: "The right-of-way for the construction of highways over public lands, not reserved for public uses, is hereby granted." The act granted a public right-of-way across unreserved federal land to guarantee access as land transferred to state or private ownership. Rights-of-way were created and granted under RS 2477 until its repeal in 1976. In Alaska, federal land was "reserved for public uses" in December 1968, with passage of PLO 4582, also known as the "land freeze." This date ends the window of RS 2477 qualification in Alaska. This shape file characterizes the geographic representation of land parcels within the State of Alaska contained...

This dataset depicts roads of Belize. According to Hipolito Contreras of the Belize Land Information Centre (personal communication 2005), the roads of Belize coverage is one of a few base layers developed by the U.K. Directorate of Overseas Surveys (DOS), based on the 1:50,000 OS topographic sheets and deposited directly at the Land Information Centre (LIC) at its inception in 1992. The version presented here - was made public through release of this dataset to the CCAD - the Central American Commission on Environment & Development.

In this project on future sustainable transport alternatives a two-step search process has been followed. First an analysis of critical success and failure factors of new technological options in passenger transport is made. These factors are found in the spatial, institutional, economic and social/psychological environment of the transport system. Next, systematically structured and expert based scenarios are con- structed in order to achieve a sustainable transport system in the year 2030 in which possible, expected and desired developments in the distinct fields are analyzed. Finally some policy conclusions are drawn.
The Area 10 mule deer population is one of the largest deer herds in the state, accounting for roughly 20 percent of the statewide mule deer population. The Area 10 herd is comprised of several sub populations that occupy the majority of the Ruby Mountains, are highly migratory, and exhibit long distance migrations from summer to winter ranges. Several key stopovers occur within the migration corridor for the Area 10 deer migration. The largest stopovers are located along the Harrison Pass Road on both sides of Toyn Creek, the west side of Pearl Peak and Sherman Mountain, Little and Big Bald Mountains near the Bald Mountain Mine complex, and Bourne to Orchard Canyons west of Warm Spring Ranch. The winter range encompasses...

Together, these line segements describe the road coverage of the Congo (roads, paths, ferryways and bridges). These geometric data came from a compilation of different databases for the OSFAC CARPE project (http://carpe.umd.edu/resources/sof/). The PAM...
