NOTICE: Given the large size of the MACAv2METDATA dataset, and a known issue with the data server being used to host it, initial load times may take a very long time and / or time out. Subsequent requests should be faster due to caching, but the cache clears periodically and the dataset must be rescanned prior to access. We are working on a fix for this issue. In the mean time, please use the dataset with care and make sureyou've reviewed the GDP scalability guidelines. https://my.usgs.gov/confluence/display/GeoDataPortal/Geo+Data+Portal+Scalability+Guidelines This archive contains daily downscaled meteorological and hydrological projections for the Conterminous United States at 1/24-deg resolution utilizing the...

Exposure (vulnerability) index for the future time period (2061-2080) representing projected climate conditions from the MRI-CGCM3 GCM and the rcp45 emissions scenario. The exposure model uses LANDFIRE vegetation data and Worldclim climate data .The raster values represent exposure scores for the corresponding vegetation type. The modeled vegetation types can be spatially associated with the exposure values by overlaying them with the "landfire_veg_sw_300m.tif" raster.Exposure values represent where the location falls in climate space relative to its recent historical distribution:5 (core 5% of historical climate space); 10 (5 - 10%; still very good); ... ; 95 (90 - 95%; within the historical distribution, but getting...

This collection contains three statistically downscaled time series (datasets) for the Red River Basin (South Central U.S.), and one dataset used as historical observations. In particular, three different Global Climate Models (MPI-ESM-LR, CCSM4 and MIROC5) were downscaled using three different quantile mapping methods (CDFt, EDQM and BCQM). We do not recommend the use of the BCQM method, as the CDFt method is considered an improvement of it. The datasets created using the BCQM method are published as a demonstration of the risks of using flawed methods. The variables of interest are: daily maximum and minimum temperature, and daily precipitation. The spatial resolution of the datasets in the collection is 1/10th...

The Exotic (EXO) and Native (NAT) biodiversity features represent exotic and native plant species communities in the Georgia Basin. These features (or rasters) were created following similar methods as Schuster & Arcese (2013), wherein they modelled and mapped bird species distributions using presence-absence data from ebird (http://ebird.org/content/ebird/about/; Sullivan et al. 2009). Plant species occurrence data were drawn from several sources (Boag 2014; Dr. E Gonzales; Dr. Joe Bennett; E-Flora BC 2013). Data for the 20 most abundant native and exotic plant species (40 species total) identified by Bennett (2014) were used to map the NAT and EXO communities, respectively (species list can be found in Appendix...
