Wild Burro Population within Wild Horse and Burro Herd Management Areas. These data are provided by Bureau of Land Management (BLM) "as is" and may contain errors or omissions. This data set contains distribution information for all mammals occurring in the Western Hemisphere. The CoRE (Contractions or Range Expansions) database contains a library of published literature and data on species range shifts in response to climate change. This data set represent the digital range map of Joshua Tree (Yucca brevifolia) in western North America. Data from multiple sources, including existing digitized maps, tabular data, personal communication, and figures from other publications, were synthesized to create a single digital distribution. The distribution was peer reviewed and iteratively revised based on personal observations of regional authorities.
The source of this coverage data set is the fish biodiversity maps created for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) as part of their Hexagon Project. Professor Peter Moyle and his graduate student, Paul Randall, of the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation Biology at the University of California, Davis were hired to produce range maps for all known fish species that presently occur in California. Each coverage denotes a separate fish species (refer to the species coverage key below).

The RMU_UNIT feature class depicts the boundaries of the range allotments, general resource areas, and wild horse and burro territories on the Tonto National Forest and is part of the USFS Southwestern Region Core Data Project. The FSim burn probability was used to determine the majority (most common) burn probability within a 4km analysis unit in Wild Horse and Burro Herd Areas
Created by merging the updated shapefiles returned by each field office and selecting out the areas defined for sheep/goat use. The original shapefiles sent to each field office for review were generated by selecting out the billed allotments, billed pastures, or pastures billed as allotments that overlapped bighorn sheep occupied habitat in each field office.
The euclidean distance to roads from the USFS grazing allotments was calculated to determine which grazing allotments had the fewest roads in proximity.

This dataset contains grazing range monitoring data for reindeer on the Seward Peninsula from 2000 to 2010. Data were based on visual ocular estimation with guidelines developed by NRCS and BLM. This dataset presents the current potential distribution of grazing allotments within the context of current and near-term terrestrial intactness and long-term potential for energy development and potential for climate change (4KM reporting units).
