This publication provides digital flight line data for a high-resolution magnetic and radiometric survey over an area of southeast Illinois, western Kentucky, and southern Indiana. The survey includes airborne geophysical data collected as part of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Earth Mapping Resource Initiative (Earth MRI) effort (Day, 2019). The airborne geophysical survey was jointly funded by the USGS National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program and the Earth Mapping Resource Initiative and was designed to meet the complimentary needs related to geologic mapping and mineral resource research. Statewide maps of the probability of exceeding a given concentration of either uranium (U) or radon (Rn) in New Hampshire groundwater (represented as statewide rasters) are the product of statistical analyses and are available here. The dependent variables in these statistical models were either 1) the natural log of Rn concentrations or 2) a dichotomous variable indicating the exceedance of 1 microgram per liter (μg/L) U in groundwater samples. Two Saphymo AlphaE radon (Rn) detectors, with a measurement range of 0.54 picoCuries per liter of air (pCi/L) to 270 nanoCuries per liter of air (nCi/L), were deployed from October 2015 thru May 2016 in publicly accessible areas adjacent to the Pinenut uranium mine located in northern Arizona. One monitor was installed in close proximity to the mine vent and a second monitor was installed in close proximity to the ore pile. In late December 2015, a third AlphaE Rn detector was deployed adjacent to the ore-pile monitor.
