This dataset was extracted by FCC from their database. This dataset and related datasets from the FCC include categories such as: FCC licensing database extracts, FCC licensin market boundaries, US boundaries and features. With these data sets, you will be able to determine the locations and limited technical details of existing towers the FCC collects data on (i.e. Cellular, Paging, Microwave, AM, FM, etc...). This information can be extremely helpful in conducting analysis such as; current service deployment, need/feasibility determinations of new services, co-location of antenna structures, inventorying of structures, network planning, etc. The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) handles all FCC domestic...

These suggestions are largely a result of two closely allied factors: first, a tape recording--either direct or one made via radio--should enable· a field geologist to record many more observations per unit time than can be made in a notebook. The observations should be to the point, but there is no reason for them to be cryptic and so potentially ambiguous to another person. Second, persons in a data facility usually have to form a mental image of the scene being described by the field man in order to understand and to plot the data. The field man therefore has to describe objects by some logical systematic procedure.

The role of lynx dispersal in maintaining their populations at the landscape scale is unclear. A large proportion of local lynx populations are known to disperse following a snowshoe hare population crash, but whether these dispersal events contribute to the cyclic dynamics of neighboring populations is not well understood. If lynx dispersal does play an important role in lynx population dynamics then the conservation of dispersal corridors is critical to maintaining those dynamics. However, we currently have no information on the habitat requirements of dispersing lynx in relation to human land use, such as housing developments, road building, timber harvest, and mining, all of which could have a substantial impact...

Licensing database extracts from the FCC for AM; FM; antenna structure registrations; cellular towers; commercial, private, and broadcast land mobile towers; paging service towers; microwave towers; analog and digital television broadcast locations; and aggregate cell service call sign areas. Â These data were extracted from the FCC database on 06/14/2012 and clipped to the ARkStorm study area extent on 08/07/2013.
