This dataset provides supporting information for the species distribution data used in the associated manuscript. Collections of five non-native fish species were made by a number of institutions, and several capture techniques were used. This dataset also includes number of individuals of each species captured at each locality.

These data were compiled as part of a field and growth chamber study of the establishment of Salsola tragus (Russian thistle), an invasive non-native annual plant in North America. Field work was conducted at Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona in 2015 and 2016 and the growth chamber study was conducted in 2016. The data represent field measurements of Salsola germination and growth (cover) and sediment movement at two field sites, one a stabilized sand sheet (SS) and the other on the ridge of a sand dune (SD). The data also represent a growth chamber assessment of the soil and litter seed bank from representative samples take at the two field sites.

Freshwater fish are among the most vulnerable taxa to climate change globally but are generally understudied in tropical island ecosystems. Climate change is predicted to alter the intensity, frequency, and variability of extreme flow events on the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. These changes may impact Caribbean native and non-native stream ecosystems and biota complex ways. We compiled an extensive dataset of native and non-native fish assemblages collected at 119 sites across Puerto Rico from 2005 to 2015. We coupled these data with stream flow indices and dam height to understand how flow dynamics drive fish assemblage structure. Sixteen percent of sites contained exclusively non-native species, 34% contained...

We conducted a study to test the factors related to detectability of two invasive aquatic plants (Egeria densa and Myriophyllym spicatum) using environmental DNA (eDNA), over extended periods of time, and specifically examined how plant growth stage and abundance relates to eDNA detection in semi-natural and natural conditions. This dataset is from sampling performed in summer of 2018 in lakes with varying species abundances, and a subset of lakes were re-sampled to test temporal variability in detection.

These data were compiled as part of an ecological study of Sonora Mud Turtles and their interaction with non-native turtles at Montezuma Well in Yavapai County, Arizona. The data consist of observations and measurements of individual turtles captured during the study, and support analyses of population size and trends, general condition and health of the turtles, and female reproduction. Principal investigators for the study were Phil Rosen (1983 data), Matthew Malone and Steve Garber (1999 data) and Jeff Lovich and Charles Drost (data from 2007 through 2015). This dataset provides detailed capture data, measurements, and female reproductive status for the Sonora Mud Turtle population at Montezuma Well, which should...

This product summarizes data used in the analysis portion of our Flood and Storm Tracker (FaST) manuscript (see larger work citation). The dataset titled HUCsppMatrices2012-2022.csv has each Hydraulic Unit Code (HUC) with an introduced taxon in each storm and the HUC it connected to by flood waters (lateral or longitudinal). The dataset titled ConnectionPoints_2012-2022.csv has each lateral (not longitudinal or downstream) connection point for each storm event. The dataset titled LongitudinalConnectionPoints_2012-2022.csv has each longitudinal or downstream connection point for each storm event.
