This publication provides digital flight line data for a high-resolution magnetic and radiometric survey over an area of southeast Illinois, western Kentucky, and southern Indiana. The survey includes airborne geophysical data collected as part of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Earth Mapping Resource Initiative (Earth MRI) effort (Day, 2019). The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) has started to initiate the development of pilot 3D National Terrain Models (3DNTMs) to generate 3-dimensional surface elevation models that integrate river topographic bare-earth elevation surfaces with channel bed bathymetry. Detailed knowledge of integrated river system topography, bathymetry, and topobathymetry, is essential for habitat restoration, hydrologic modeling, and other key science applications such as flood mapping and fluvial geomorphology. This data release consists of lakebed temperature data collected at the sediment-water interface at the north end of Haskell Lake, Lac du Flambeau Reservation, Wisconsin. Data were collected using a fiber-optic distributed temperature sensor (DTS) during a 5 day period from July 27 to August 1, 2016. Established procedures were followed to estimate lakebed temperatures from the raw DTS data and calibration baths of known temperatures. This data release includes the raw DTS (Stokes and anti-Stokes intensity) data, a shape file of the DTS cable location, photos from the field deployment, and python code for reproducing the full workflow described as part of U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2020-5005....

Controlled source audio-frequency magnetotellurics (CSAMT) data were collected over the Sevier fault, near Red Knoll in Kane county Utah, to better understand the hydrogeology of the area. CSAMT data provide vertical cross-section (profile) data about the resistivity of the subsurface, which may be related to lithologic boundaries and (or) grain-size distribution in the subsurface.
