This metadata record describes 19 annual Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) Program variables ( kilograms per hectare) for each year between 2002 - 2012 ( Zhang and others, 2012, Schwede and others, 2014) compiled for two spatial components of the NHDPlus version 2.1 data suite hereto referred to as (NHDV2) for the conterminous United States; 1) individual reach catchments and 2) reach catchments accumulated upstream through the river network. This dataset can be linked to the NHDPlusv2 data suite by the unique identifier COMID. Reach catchment information characterizes data at the local scale. Reach catchments accumulated upstream through the river network characterizes cumulative upstream...
Dry deposition is a major component of total atmospheric nitrogen deposition and thus an important source of bioavailable nitrogen to ecosystems. However, relative to wet deposition, less is known regarding the sources and spatial variability of dry deposition. This is in part due to difficulty in measuring dry deposition and associated deposition velocities. Passive sampling techniques offer potential for improving our understanding of the spatial distribution and sources of gaseous and aerosol N species, referred to here as dry deposition. We report dual nitrate isotopic composition (δ15N and δ18O) in actively collected dry and wet deposition across the high-deposition region of Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania....

This metadata record describes 4 tabular data sets that estimate fraction of the total dry or wet deposition due to emissions from fertilizer and animal manure based on output from the Community Multiscale Air Quality modeling system (CMAQ, Zhang and others, 2019) compiled for two spatial components of the NHDPlus version 2.1 data suite (hereto referred as NHDPlusv2) for the conterminous United States; 1) individual reach catchments and 2) reach catchments accumulated upstream through the river network. This dataset can be linked to the NHDPlus version 2.1 data suite by the unique identifier COMID. Reach catchment information characterizes data at the local scale.
