This data set includes the value of mineral production by Statein the United States. The data represent commodities covered bythe National Minerals Information Center (MIT) of the U.S. Geological Survey.
These maps are a digital representation of the individual treespecies range maps of the "Atlas of the United States Trees" byElbert L. Little, Jr. The atlas shows the natural distribution orrange of the native tree species of North America. These coveragesrepresent 3 volumes of the atlas.
The USGS Central Region Energy Team assesses oil and gas resources of the United States. The onshore and State water areas of the United States comprise 71 provinces. Within these provinces, hydrocarbon plays were defined and assessed. Each of these provinces is defined geologically, and most province boundaries are defined by major geologic changes. The province boundaries were drawn on the county lines that most closely followed the natural geologic boundaries.

The Watershed Condition Framework (WCF) is a comprehensive approach for proactively implementing integrated restoration on priority watersheds on national forests and grasslands. The WCF proposes to improve the way the Forest Service ap- proaches watershed restoration by targeting the implementation of integrated suites of activities in those watersheds that have been identified as priorities for restoration. The WCF also establishes a nationally consistent reconnaissance-level approach for classifying watershed condition, using a comprehensive set of 12 indicators that are surrogate variables representing the underlying ecological, hydrological, and geomorphic functions and processes that affect watershed condition....
