This data release provides 15-minute data of suspended-sediment concentration and fine (less than 0.0625 mm) suspended-sediment concentration during the removal of 2 large dams on the Elwha River from September 2011 to September 2016. Data are derived from regression relations with turbidity at the USGS gaging station Elwha River at the Diversion (no.12046260).

The basis for these features is U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2016-5105 Flood-inundation maps for the Peckman River in the Townships of Verona, Cedar Grove, and Little Falls, and the Borough of Woodland Park, New Jersey, 2014.Digital flood-inundation maps for an approximate 7.5-mile reach of the Peckman River in New Jersey, which extends from Verona Lake Dam in the Township of Verona downstream through the Township of Cedar Grove and the Township of Little Falls to the confluence with the Passaic River in the Borough of Woodland Park, were created by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in cooperation with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Flood profiles were simulated...

Water velocities and discharge were measured in the lock chamber and immediately downstream of Brandon Road Lock on the Des Plaines River at river mile 286 on December 9-10, 2014 using Teledyne RDI Rio Grande 600 and 1200 kHz acoustic Doppler current profilers (ADCP). The data were georeferenced with a differential GPS receiver with submeter accuracy. These ADCP measurements were collected in support of the US Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes and Mississippi River Interbasin Study (GLMRIS). Velocity measurements were processed using the Velocity Mapping Toolbox (Parsons and others, 2013) to derive temporally- and spatially-averaged water velocity values. Discharge measurements were processed with the QRev discharge...

This data release contains trend results computed on the basis of modeled and observed daily streamflows at 502 reference gages across the conterminous U.S. from October 1, 1983 through September 30, 2016. Modeled daily streamflows were computed using the deterministic Precipitation Runoff Modeling System (PRMS), and five statistical techniques: Nearest-Neighbor Drainage Area Ratio (NNDAR), Map-Correlation Drainage Area Ratio (MCDAR), Ordinary Kriging of the logarithms of discharge per unit area (OKDAR), Nearest-Neighbor nonlinear spatial interpolation using flow duration curves (NNQPPQ), and Map-Correlation nonlinear spatial interpolation using flow duration curves (MCQPPQ). Observed daily streamflow data for the...
The basis for these features is U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2017-5024 Flood Inundation Mapping Data for Johnson Creek near Sycamore, Oregon. The domain of the HEC-RAS hydraulic model is a 12.9-mile reach of Johnson Creek from just upstream of SE 174th Avenue in Portland, Oregon, to its confluence with the Willamette River. Some of the hydraulics used in the model were taken from Federal Emergency Management Agency, 2010, Flood Insurance Study, City of Portland, Oregon, Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington Counties, Volume 1 of 3, November 26, 2010. The Digital Elevation Model (DEM) utilized for the project was developed from lidar data flown in 2015 and provided by the Oregon Department...
