This data set contains imagery from the National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP). The NAIP program is administered by USDA FSA and has been established to support two main FSA strategic goals centered on agricultural production. These are, increase stewardship of America's natural resources while enhancing the environment, and to ensure commodities are procured and distributed effectively and efficiently to increase food security. The NAIP program supports these goals by acquiring and providing ortho imagery that has been collected during the agricultural growing season in the U.S. The NAIP ortho imagery is tailored to meet FSA requirements and is a fundamental tool used to support FSA farm and conservation programs....

This dataset consists of tabular information from coastal studies of earthquake and tsunami history along a central part of the Cascadia Subduction Zone. The study area encompasses four estuaries along the Pacific coast of southern Washington and northernmost Oregon. Nearly all the field work took place between 1986 and 1998. Data tables, 18 in all, archive mostly georeferenced information about stratigraphy, radiocarbon ages, and trees dead and living. Some of this data was interpreted in reports published between 1987 and 2005, but most of it was previously unavailable. An accompanying guide, with hyperlinks to the data tables, explains the data tables more thoroughly than does the metadata. Contributors include...

ORWA98_750UTM is a digital bathymetric surface grid of the seafloor offthe coast of Washington and Oregon. Grid cell spacing is 750m and theprojection is UTM Zone 10.The surface grid was produced by merging National Ocean Service (NOS)Hydrographic Surveys conducted between 1926 and 1974 (primarily 1926to 1930) with recent surveys conducted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers(USACE) in 1998 around the entrances to Grays Harbor, Willapa Bay, and theColumbia River. The results of this work represent the best availableestimate of the seafloor morphology for the time period circa 1998. Theuser is cautioned, however, to use this data set with full knowledge ofthe original intent, the limitations, and assumptions used...
ORWA26_750UTM is a digital bathymetric surface grid of the seafloor offthe coast of Washington and Oregon. Grid cell spacing is 500m and theprojection is UTM Zone 10.The surface was produced by gridding National Ocean Service (NOS)Hydrographic Surveys collected between 1926 and 1974 (primarily1926 to 1930). This work includes the most recent bathymetric dataavailable on a regional scale over the inner to outer continental shelfoff the coast of Washington and Oregon. The results represent thebest available estimate of the seafloor morphology for the time periodcirca 1926.
