Forested Wetland Extent This layer is an older version of one of the South Atlantic LCC indicators in the forested wetland ecosystem. It captures the overall acres of forested wetlands present in the South Atlantic geography. This indicator was most recently updated in Blueprint 2.2. The updated version uses an improved resampling method and reflects changes in how extent indicators and ecosystem maps are envisioned. Reason for Selection Overall acreage provides an indicator of whether forested wetlands being inundated by sea level rise are being replaced or restored somewhere else.
