This data set contains imagery from the National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP). The NAIP program is administered by USDA FSA and has been established to support two main FSA strategic goals centered on agricultural production. These are, increase stewardship of America's natural resources while enhancing the environment, and to ensure commodities are procured and distributed effectively and efficiently to increase food security. The NAIP program supports these goals by acquiring and providing ortho imagery that has been collected during the agricultural growing season in the U.S. The NAIP ortho imagery is tailored to meet FSA requirements and is a fundamental tool used to support FSA farm and conservation programs....

These data are the survey results from a five-mile section of the Platte River at, and upstream of the Nebraska Army National Guard Camp Ashland Training Site including the side channel chutes on the east bank. All survey data were collected along planned transect lines that were spaced 492.125 US survey feet apart beginning near the mouth of the Elkhorn River and ending near the U.S. Highway 6 bridge. An effort was made to get complete elevation data for each transect from top of bank to top of bank. Survey grade Global Navigation and Satellite Systems (GNSS) receiving antennas connected to a real time network (RTK high precision network https://hprtk.net) were used to measure elevation along the transects, at...

These data were released prior to the October 1, 2016 effective date for the USGS’s policy dictating the review, approval, and release of scientific data as referenced in USGS Survey Manual Chapter 502.8 Fundamental Science Practices: Review and Approval of Scientific Data for Release. Data points represent head scarps, flank scarps, and minor internal scarps (linear) associated with landslide deposits in the Little North Santiam River Basin, Oregon. This work was completed as part of the Master's thesis "Turbidity Monitoring and LiDAR Imagery Indicate Landslides are Primary Source of Suspended-Sediment Load in the Little North Santiam River Basin, Oregon, Winter 2009-2010" by Steven Sobieszczyk, Portland State...

This data set contains two sets of measured water-level data collected in an area between the Platte and Elkhorn Rivers just above their confluence. Surface-water and groundwater-level data were collected during the fall of 2016 during synoptic water-level survey completed during a low-groundwater demand period and a summer 2017 synoptic water-level survey completed during a high-groundwater demand period. The elevations of surface-water features were surveyed with a rover receiver using a real-time network, where the rover receiver receives real-time position corrections from a central server through a mobile wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) hotspot linked to the rover receiver. Data collection procedures ensured that...

This layer is an inventory of existing landslides deposits in the Little North Santiam River Basin, Oregon (2009). Each landslide deposit shown on this map has been classified according to a number of specific characteristics identified at the time recorded in the GIS database. The classification scheme was developed by the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (Burns and Madin, 2009). Several significant landslide...
