![]() The Southern Sierra Fisher Conservation Area encompasses the known occupied range of the Pacific fisher in the Sierra Nevada. This consists of an elevational band from 4,500 feet to 8,000 feet on the Sierra and Sequoia National Forests.
These data show the potential for Coastal Uplands in Florida to migrate inland with Sea Level Rise (SLR) up to 1-meter. Protected areas within a 300-meter buffer were assessed to evaluate potential areas available for inland migration. These data represent an initial estimation of potential availability for habitat migration; additional, more refined investigations that include additional variables would be required to determine areas of high and low potential and onsite planning. These analyses were created as part of the Landscape Conservation Project for the state of Florida. Coastal Inland migration is an ecological indicator for the coastal uplands conservation asset of the Florida Landscape Conservation Project...

Management of transportation networks is affected by, and has effects on, natural and cultural resources through direct and indirect interactions. Until recently, the availability of such spatially explicit information has been limited; however, the data released here to the public will prove valuable for comparing existing networks and planning options with respect to potential impact to, or from, environmental factors across broad areas, for example, States and Agency Planning Regions. Integrated network and resource analyses can provide insights into potential construction and maintenance costs as well as safety risks and environmental impacts during project planning and assessment. A cooperative project was...

This geodatabase contains geographic and tabular information pertaining to priority conservation areas in western North America. The region encompasses a sequence of mountain ranges, including the Rocky Mountains, that form the backbone or spine of the western North America, along with the surrounding deserts and semi-arid lands. Priority conservation areas (hereafter referred to as conservation areas) are geographic areas that have been selected because of the sensitive biological species, habitats, and features (hereafter referred to as targets) that are known to occur in these areas. Conservation, protection, and management actions within these areas should be prioritized in order to ensure persistence and survival...

![]() Ecoregional assessment portfolios of priority conservation areas for all ecoregions intersecting Washington. This includes terrestrial, freshwater, marine, and integrated portfolios that were developed for each ecoregional assessment.
Wild bee and butterfly samples were collected from the margins of agricultural fields located on five Conservation Areas in Missouri. In 2016 and 2017, samples were collected and composited by genera for a total of 90 samples. Samples were extracted via pressurized liquid extraction and solid phase extraction cleanup. Samples were analyzed for 168 pesticides and degradates using both gas and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Overall, 16 pesticides were detected. Pesticides detected in greater than 2% of the composite samples included: metolachlor (24%), tebuconazole (22%), atrazine (18%), imidacloprid desnitro (13%), bifenthrin (9%), flumetralin (9%), p,p’-DDD (6%), tebupirimfos (4%), fludioxonil (4%),...

![]() Conservation Lands spatial and attribute data. This includes related information on various types/classes of land secured for fish, wildlife and habitat conservation purposes. It includes Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) designated by Order in Council (OIC). Source data are from Tantalis as well as the derived product from GeoBC.
This data set depicts federal lands having restrictions on access or activities -- that is, lands mangaed by the National Park Service, Defense Department, or Energy Department -- in western North America. The data set was created by reformatting and merging state- and province-based ownership data layers originally acquired from diverse sources (including state GAP programs, USBLM state offices and other sources). For each original dataset 3 additional fields, "Pub_Pvt", "CA_OWN", and "SOURCE" were added and populated based on the specific ownership information contained in the source data. The original coverages were then merged based on the "CA_OWN" field. Finally, NPS, DOD, and DOE lands were selected out of...
