Reliable peak-streamflow information is critical for proper design of stream-related infrastructure, such as bridges, and StreamStats provides a user-friendly interface to estimate peak flows (https://streamstats.usgs .gov/ss/). StreamStats develops these peak-flow estimates using basin characteristics for the entire contributing area to a user-selected point; however, infrastructure planners often need to estimate flows for an area downstream from a known control such as a reservoir release or a weir. This dataset was compiled in cooperation with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) to provide a Geographic Information System (GIS) layer of filtered regulation points from the U.S. Army Corps Engineers...

This dataset represents roads in the Crown of the Continent Ecosystem (with a 50km buffer). Developed with the most recently available data and represents roads in ~2016. This dataset was developed by the Crown Managers Partnership, as part of a transboundary collaborative management initiative for the Crown of the Continent Ecosystem, based on commonly identified management priorities that are relevant at the landscape scale. The CMP is collaborative group of land managers, scientists, and stakeholder in the CCE. For more information on the CMP and its collaborators, programs, and projects please visit: http://crownmanagers.org/ This dataset has been produced by merging the "National Road Network (NRN) - AB,...

This dataset is one of a suite of products from the Nature’s Network project (naturesnetwork.org). Nature’s Network is a collaborative effort to identify shared priorities for conservation in the Northeast, considering the value of fish and wildlife species and the natural areas they inhabit. This dataset represents the relative potential to improve local aquatic connectivity by upgrading road-stream crossings. The model incorporates survey data from the North Atlantic Aquatic Connectivity Collaborative (NAACC). To view the current NAACC database go to https://streamcontinuity.org/database.htm. The Road Stream Crossing Upgrade Effects dataset and other datasets that augment or complement aquatic connectivity are...

StreamNet's Potential Fish Passage Barrier dataset captures both natural and man-made in stream features that have the potential to block fish passage (culverts, dams, debris jams, cascades, falls, etc.). Where information exists, fish passage ability is captured. This dataset is maintained and updated on an annual or semi-annual basis. The JUNE, 2012 publication dataset includes almost 60,000 features across the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, western Montana and California. Where possible, all barrier locations are georeferenced to StreamNet's regionally standardized routed hydrography layer (MSHv3) enabling comparison and analysis of barrier locations within the context of StreamNet's larger data holdings...
The Oregon Fish Passage Barrier Data Standard (OFPBDS) dataset contains barriers to fish passage in Oregon watercourses. Barriers include the following types of natural or artificial structures: bridges, cascades, culverts, dams, debris jams, fords, natural falls, tide gates, and weirs. The OFPBDS dataset does not include structures which are not associated with in-stream features (such as dikes, levees or berms). Barriers are structures which do, or potentially may, impede fish movement and migration. Barriers can be known to cause complete or partial blockage to fish passage, or they can be completely passable, or they may have an unknown passage status. The third publication of the OFPBDS dataset (Version 3)...

This dataset shows the density of the intercepts of roads and streams in the Crown of the Continent and a 50km buffer. This dataset has been produced by merging the “National Road Network (NRN) - AB, Alberta” shapefile obtained from GeoBase , Digital Road Atlas (DRA) of British Colombia from GeoBC and “Roads from the Montana Transportation Framework MSDI” for Montana, US Provided by Montana State Library. This dataset was developed by the Crown Managers Partnership, as part of a transboundary collaborative management initiative for the Crown of the Continent Ecosystem, based on commonly identified management priorities that are relevant at the landscape scale. This dataset was created to serve as one sub-layer of the Florida Marine Blueprint. The Florida Marine Blueprint was created to aid in prioritizing ecosystems and habitats derived from species biodiversity, highly valued habitat and potential marine migratory corridors. Highest priority areas are those where there is high species biodiversity/richness and overlaps in valued habitats. The Blueprint will then be used to inform where potential management and conservation practices should be focused and potentially carried out.

Together, these line segements describe the road coverage of the Congo (roads, paths, ferryways and bridges). These geometric data came from a compilation of different databases for the OSFAC CARPE project (http://carpe.umd.edu/resources/sof/). The PAM...
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) maintains over 8,000 streamgages across the U.S. Streamgages in Illinois are operated by the USGS Illinois-Iowa Water Science Center (USGS IL-IA WSC). Gage-height data at many USGS streamgages were collected on paper-punch tapes during the period of 1965 to 1985 in Illinois. These data were not saved in the National Water Information System (NWIS) due to lack of sufficient computer storage at that time. The USGS IL-IA WSC currently has the equivalent of 2,049 years of data from 152 streamgages on paper tapes stored at the National Archive and Records Administration (NARA) Federal Records Center that are not in NWIS. All of these data need to be stored in NWIS for public use before...
