Applying Vulnerability Assessment Tools to Plan for Climate Adaptation: Case Studies in the North Pacific LCC - Final Report

The central objective of this project was to answer two questions: 1) how downscaled climate datasets, modeled vegetation changes, and information on estimated species sensitivities can be used to develop climate change adaptation strategies, and 2) how model results and datasets can be made more useful for informing the management of species and landscapes. Willamette Valley Climate Change Adaptation Workshop Summary Report

This report summarizes the results from a climate change adaptation workshop focused on the Willamette Valley, OR. Climate Adaptation Planning for British Columbia Provincial Parks: A Guidance Report

Climate impacts potentially affect all levels of park planning and management. Climate adaptation planning seeks to identify and proactively prepare for potential climate change impacts on management sectors. Taking a proactive approach can help reduce future risks, capitalize on new opportunities, and minimize losses due to climate change. Most importantly, integrating climate impacts into park planning and management will help park managers continue to meet their mission of protecting natural and cultural resources, providing recreation opportunities, and protecting the health and safety of park visitors.
