This page contains links to images of the Public Land Survey System for Wyoming. This information consists of images of all available survey plats for the entire state and approximately 30,000 pages of field notes. The plats are organized by county and then by township and range. The remaining 570,00 pages of field notes are in bound volumes and will not be available for quite some time. Additionally we have now posted all the available images for the Mineral and HES surveys.
The purpose of this gallery is to provide the user community with a variety of completed map products for including as reference material in presentations, documents, etc. There are a variety of maps available here to download in several formats to suit a variety of user needs. We would recommend using .pdf versions if you are interested in layer functionality to turn layers on and off at will. the direct link from each map is a .pdf. The additional links to the right also provide zipfiles containing the map in question.

Ground-Penetrating Radar Soil Suitability Maps have been prepared for the conterminous United States, most states, and territories.
Included are samples of three types of State and Territorial maps: the Holt's maps, the US Department of Interior maps and the Transportation/Postal Route maps. The Holt's maps were produced between 1883 and ca.1890. They show the development and settlement of Wyoming and include the location of some early ranches and trails. The Archives has US Department of Interior State maps from 1876 to 1947. They are extremely detailed, including information as diverse as the location of US land offices, Indian and Military Reservations, forest and bird reserves, etc. The Transportation/Postal Route maps vary greatly depending on the reason they were produced. Many of the early Postal Route maps don't even show roads or trails,...
These images were created from maps and atlases and, in general, are restricted to items that are not covered by copyright protection. Map Collections is organized according to seven major categories. Searching the map collection for maps referencing Wyoming can be found in the 'Conservation and Environment' and 'Discovery and Exploration' sections specifically at this time.

The Commission regulates eleven natural gas utilities that provide retail gas service to Wyoming customers. These natural gas utilities range in size from relatively small companies serving only a couple hundred Wyoming customers to large, multi-state gas companies who have a Wyoming customer base of over 70,000 customers.
The Commission regulates four investor owned electric utilities that operate in Wyoming. In addition, the Commission also has regulatory authority over eighteen retail rural electric cooperatives that provide electric service within the state.
