The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) and the USDA Census of Agriculture (completed every five years, most recently in 2012) are primary sources of regionally detailed data concerning the productivity, economics, land use, and multiple other characteristics of agriculture and ranching in the United States. HEM events were created from fish screens, stream gages, and surface water diversions within the Lemhi SubBasin in Idaho. Data was gathered from the following sources: Idaho Fish and Game, Idaho Power, Idaho Water Engineering, and Idaho Water Resources Water Rights. The data assembled represented fish screens, water withdrawals from the stream, and flow gauging stations.

Raven point counts were related to landscape covariates using Bayesian hierarchical occupancy models and the mean of the predicted posterior distribution for raven occurrence was used to visualize results.
