This part of the data release presents projected flooding extent polygon (flood masks) and flooding depth points (flood points) shapefiles based on wave-driven total water levels for the State of Hawaii (the islands of Hawaii, Kahoolawe, Kauai, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Niihau, and Oahu). For each island there are 8 associated flood mask and flood depth shapefiles: one for each of four nearshore wave energy return periods (rp; 10-, 50-, 100-, and 500-years) and both with (wrf) and without (worf) the presence of coral reefs. Flooding depth point data are also presented as a comma-separated value (.csv) text file.
Wild insect pollination has significant positive effects on pollinator-dependent crop production. To assess the spatial distribution of supply of wild insect pollination, we mapped relative pollinator activity on pollinator-dependent cropland based on each pixel's distance to potential pollinator habitat.

This folder and its contents include summaries produced from fish and habitat surveys conducted in Mason Creek, tributary of the East Fork Lewis River, SW Washington, during summer of 2017. First, estimates of abundance and survival for juvenile coho salmon were generated for three time periods (early, middle, and late) during the summer of 2017 and reported in the file "Estimates of juvenile coho summer abundance and survival_MasonCreek_2017.xlsx". Second, summaries of the continuous habitat surveys can be found in the file "FinalStats_MasonMill2017_FishRescue.xlsx". Specifically here, the total length of stream habitat by habitat type (flowing, fragmented, dry) and the frequency and area of stream pools are summarized...

The dataset provides an estimate of 2017 herbaceous annual percent cover predicted on May 1st with an emphasis on annual grasses. The pixel values range from 0 to100 with an overall mean value of 7.1 and a standard deviation of +/-10.5. The model's test mean error rate (n = 1670), based on nine different randomizations, equals 4.9% with a standard deviation of +/- 0.15. This dataset was generated by integrating ground-truth measurements of annual herbaceous percent cover with 250-m spatial resolution eMODIS NDVI satellite derived data and geophysical variables into regression-tree software. The geographic coverage includes the Great Basin, the Snake River Plain, the state of Wyoming, and contiguous areas. We applied...
