Summary

Album caption: Panorama showing low walls and region that would be flooded if a high dam were build at Lee Ferry. Halls Crossings enters the Colorado River around the bend to the right of photograph 216. Navajo Mountian shows (faintly) at the right of the photograph 216 like an inverted bowl 31 miles away. The Henry Mountians , 44 miles from Halls crossing, to the north (left?). Bull Frog Creek enters from the left. Halls Crossing is 98 miles below the mouth of Green River and 37 miles above the San Juan. About 40 square miles at left in photograph 217 lies under the 3,900 foot contour. Noon.
