The Henrys Fork Adopt a Trout (AaT) Program will provide much needed Colorado River cutthroat trout (CRC) movement data to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD), Trout Unlimited (TU) and a local elementary school. CRC are native to the Henrys Fork River and occupy portions of the drainage. However, no data exists for CRC in the Wyoming portion of the Henrys Fork drainage to understand population dynamics and habitat restraints. The lower Henrys Fork River often has low flows and high water temperatures in the late summer months, which will only worsen with future climate change predictions.
