Purpose

Four grids (newageol, newafaul, newafold, newadike) were built touse in a weights-of-evidence analysis of mineral deposits andmineral activity. The requirements of a proposed modeling procedurenecessitated converting the vector data to gridded raster files. Anew lithologic classification was also created to provide uniformterminology for rock units mapped within the study area.
